Members of Mar-a-Lago, the exclusive golf club owned by Donald Trump, are reportedly joining forces to remove one of their fellow members from the prestigious Palm Beach club. The target of this expulsion effort is Rosalyn Yellin, who recently appeared in the Netflix series “Members Only: Palm Beach.”
The show delves into the lives of affluent individuals in Florida, showcasing a mix of established and up-and-coming socialites vying for influence in Palm Beach society. Despite Mar-a-Lago being highlighted as a key networking hub in the series, filming inside the club was prohibited. As a result of Rosalyn’s participation in the show, discontent among other members has led to discussions of revoking her membership.
According to insider reports shared with Page Six, certain members are planning to collectively demand the termination of Rosalyn’s club affiliation due to their disapproval of the show, which they perceive as lacking sophistication. Criticisms include the cast’s purported lack of genuine prominence within Palm Beach and the show’s alleged misrepresentation of the local social scene.
Rosalyn, who has showcased her Mar-a-Lago experiences on social media, expressed disappointment at the negative portrayal of the show, emphasizing her four-year track record of engaging in charitable activities at the club. In contrast to the controversy surrounding her involvement in “Members Only: Palm Beach,” Rosalyn aims to redirect attention to her philanthropic endeavors and the positive impact of club-sponsored charity events.
The Netflix series, released on December 29, features other cast members such as Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis. Maria, who was frequently shown in emotional moments on the show, recently addressed her tears, attributing them to personal struggles she was facing during filming, including therapy sessions and hormonal fluctuations.
