Apple has introduced new additions to its MacBook and iPad series shortly after the release of the iPhone 17. The tech giant unveiled the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 on October 22. Both devices are equipped with Apple’s latest M5 chip, offering enhanced speed, power, and AI performance. These products are now available for purchase from Apple and Amazon.

The MacBook Pro M5 512GB starts at £1,599, while the 11” iPad Pro 256GB and 13” iPad Pro 256GB are priced at £999 and £1,299, respectively. Apple’s Pro range features top-tier, premium products, prompting many consumers to explore monthly payment options from providers like Sky Mobile and O2, starting at 90p per day.

Various plans are offered by Sky, starting at £27 for the 11” iPad Pro M5 and going up to £34 for the 13” iPad Pro M5, with a modest 100MB data allocation. There is also a £35 plan for the MacBook Pro M5 with a £7 upfront cost, ideal for WiFi usage. For those requiring mobile data, Sky offers eSIM options ranging from 1GB for £5 to unlimited for £27.

It’s important to note that most providers increase prices annually due to inflation. EE offers competitive iPad Pro plans, such as £89.92 plus £120 upfront for the 11” iPad Pro M5 on a 12-month plan. The 13” iPad Pro M5 is priced at £112.42 plus £120 upfront on the same plan. EE’s 24-month contracts, which include mobile data, range from £67.50 to £83.70.

O2 provides pre-built plans for both iPad Pro M5 models, starting at £39.20 per month plus £20 upfront for the 11” iPad Pro M5 on a 1GB Classic Plan. The 13” iPad Pro M5 costs £45.60 per month and £20 upfront with the same plan. These plans also include O2 Extras like Disney+ or Amazon Prime for up to six months.

Contracts typically last for 48 months and consist of an airtime plan for data and a device plan, which can be separated after 24 months. Customers have the option to continue with both plans or modify the airtime plan. This flexibility can lead to cost savings for those not needing mobile data for the entire contract period.
