Taylor Swift enthusiasts believe they have uncovered a significant hint regarding the singer’s upcoming album, shortly after the release of her most recent project. Swift recently delighted her fans with 12 new songs in “The Life of a Showgirl,” which debuted on October 3. Additionally, the 35-year-old artist has announced a new docuseries and concert film for Disney+ set to premiere this December, providing a behind-the-scenes look at her acclaimed Eras Tour.
The revelation was made on October 13, accompanied by a 90-second trailer that sparked speculation among Swifties about potential Easter eggs. A brief moment in the teaser shows Taylor holding her cat while passing by a sign displaying ‘A13.’ Although seemingly inconsequential to many, Taylor’s dedicated fans are convinced that this scene was deliberately included to tease her thirteenth album.
On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), fans shared their reactions, with one user expressing surprise at the discovery. Another fan questioned the significance of Taylor’s joyful stroll with her cat, prompting a response linking the visible ‘A13’ sign to speculations about a new album in the making.
Some fans quickly grasped the implications of the post, pondering whether it was too early for Taylor’s next project. A reference was made to a past instance where Taylor hinted at an album with ‘A12’ before its release, suggesting that the current Easter egg might signal the beginning of her next musical endeavor.
Apart from fan theories, discussions also arose about potential features in the upcoming album, with one fan speculating that the lead single could be unveiled in the Eras Tour film’s conclusion. Given that Taylor’s previous album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released just last year, fans may indeed be on the right track with their predictions.
The docuseries “The End of an Era” is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 12, coinciding with the concert film “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show.”
