James May has declined the opportunity to appear in person on Clarkson’s Farm, a popular Amazon series led by his former Top Gear colleague Jeremy Clarkson. While May did make a brief appearance via Zoom on the show, he has expressed his reluctance to actively participate in farming activities.

Having visited the filming location of the program, May was initially in discussions for a potential appearance but has ultimately decided against it, citing his lack of farming experience. He mentioned that although he provided some advice to Clarkson about pubs during a Zoom cameo, he has no desire to engage in farming activities.

May humorously admitted to his own lack of farming knowledge and suggested that Clarkson may share a similar sentiment. This decision comes amid speculations about the professional relationship between May, Clarkson, and their fellow co-star Richard Hammond.

Following their successful stints on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, the trio’s production company, W. Chump & Sons, has reportedly wound up its operations, leaving each member with a substantial sum. Despite this, indications point to the trio not reuniting for future projects together.

Meanwhile, May, who is currently on his Explorers – The Age of Discovery Tour, revealed that his retirement plans have been postponed due to a busy schedule. He shared details of upcoming TV series and live shows, emphasizing that this year has been his most hectic in a long time.

As fans wonder about the trio’s future collaborations, May’s packed schedule indicates a thriving career post-retirement contemplations.
