Vicky Pattison from Strictly Come Dancing has shared her uncertainties about motherhood as she feels the pressure to start a family. The Geordie Shore celebrity expressed her concerns about becoming a parent at the age of 37, following her recent marriage to long-time partner Ercan Ramadan.
Despite her successful TV career since her Geordie Shore days, Vicky admitted feeling overwhelmed by the expectation to have children now that she is married. In an interview with Women’s Health UK, she discussed the challenges of balancing motherhood with her professional endeavors. Vicky endorsed the concept of egg freezing for women seeking more flexibility but acknowledged the privilege it entails.
On the Women’s Health podcast with Gemma Atkinson and Claire Sanderson, Vicky emphasized the societal shift towards recognizing that a woman’s fulfillment does not solely depend on having children. She highlighted her own uncertainties about motherhood, stating that she is proud of her personal growth and is apprehensive about taking a break from her career.
Vicky and Ercan, who got engaged in 2022 and married on a Channel 4 documentary last year, are currently participating in Strictly Come Dancing. Despite falling ill during rehearsals for Movie Week, where they performed a Charleston routine, Vicky and her dance partner Kai Widdrington have been captivating the judges with their performances.
