An avid Oasis enthusiast who had the opportunity to attend the band’s reunion tour in both the UK and the USA shared a significant observation about the concerts.
Kirsty McCormack, the deputy entertainment editor at The Mirror US, was fortunate to secure tickets to witness the iconic Manchester rock duo, Liam and Noel Gallagher, perform at London’s Wembley Stadium and the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
After a fierce online ticket battle alongside numerous dedicated fans, Kirsty and her companion successfully obtained passes for the London show on August 3. Expressing her excitement, she stated, “Having an Oasis ticket felt like a privilege, and watching them at Wembley Stadium was particularly special to me, given its proximity to my hometown.”
Reflecting on the live performances by Liam and Noel Gallagher, Kirsty shared with The Mirror US, “Attending the Oasis concert on Sunday, August 3, was worth every penny spent. The experience and memories are truly priceless.”
She described the electrifying atmosphere of being surrounded by hundreds, if not thousands, of fellow passionate fans of the band. Despite the physical demands of standing throughout the show, Kirsty emphasized the indescribable energy and mood that enveloped the audience.
Kirsty, currently residing in New York, confessed to feeling a tinge of envy towards friends attending the New Jersey shows at the end of August. Although she managed to secure tickets for the August 31 performance, she expressed concerns about whether the American audience would match up to the fervor of the UK crowd.
Following two shows in New Jersey, the Oasis Live ’25 tour is scheduled to move to Pasadena next. The band, supported by Cage the Elephant and Cast, is set to perform at the Rose Bowl on September 6 and 7.
Subsequently, Oasis will have two gigs in Mexico on September 12 and 13 before returning to London for additional performances at Wembley. The tour is set to conclude in São Paulo on November 22 and 23, with speculations arising about potential 2026 dates to mark milestones like the anniversary of their iconic 1996 concerts at Knebworth and Maine Road.
