Boxing fans believe Tyson Fury has admitted that Moses Itauma would defeat him if they were to face off in the ring. Fury experienced consecutive losses to the Ukrainian boxer last year, relinquishing his world championship title and failing to reclaim it in their rematch. Despite initially announcing his retirement, Fury later reversed his decision and confirmed his comeback to the boxing scene next year.

On the other hand, Usyk recently defeated Daniel Dubois in a fifth-round stoppage at their Wembley bout, announcing his intention to compete only once more before retiring. Fury recently took to social media to assert that Usyk would be bested by the emerging British talent, Moses Itauma, who impressively defeated Dillian Whyte. Fury emphasized his extensive boxing experience and success, stating that Itauma, a young prospect, would outshine the older competitors in the division.

Responding to Fury’s comments, boxing enthusiasts expressed mixed opinions, with some suggesting Fury was bitter over his losses to Usyk. Itauma, however, refrained from directly challenging Usyk, indicating that he does not feel deserving of the opportunity to face him at this point but is open to fighting other deserving opponents like Agit Kabayel or Joseph Parker in the future.

The ongoing debate stirred by Fury’s remarks showcases the passion and engagement of boxing fans in discussing the potential matchups and outcomes in the sport.
