Heartfelt condolences are being expressed for a woman who tragically passed away in a car accident on a busy road, remembered by many as a devoted mother and a truly special individual.
Jodie Amanda James, 33, sustained critical injuries in a collision while cycling along the A40 road near Llanddewi Velfrey, Pembrokeshire, on the morning of Friday, August 22. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she sadly succumbed to her injuries two days later on Sunday, August 24.
In a poignant statement released through the police, Jodie’s family described her as a cherished mother to Kaleb, a daughter to Amanda and Stephen, a sister to Sammy and her brother-in-law Kristian, a sibling to her brother Adam, and an aunt to Karter, Lilith, and Atlas. They expressed that she was an inspiration and a special person to all who knew her.
Following the incident, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving an unfit vehicle. However, he has been released on bail as investigations continue.
